Blech! Turned the heel & it's WAY too big! Big baggy sock :( I wear a size 7.5-8 shoe & this could easily fit someone wearing a 10-11! I started the heel towards the back of my arch, but it needs to be much shorter--so, rip it all out & start all over again...ugh...

Sounds like what Bridget did too, except she removed the toe and reknit it, having gone further up the leg. Something for me to keep in mind when I start mine. Yes, I am planning yet another pair of socks! But I am NOT an addict!
I really loved this heel but like Val said, had to decrease the toe to make it fit. Will have to figureout how to use this heel in other socks. Like the way the pattern looks in this yarn!
