Somewhat belated but here's Evie in her Halloween "costume." She was being somewhat coy about having her picture taken.
Last year, tons of candy = 1 kid. This year, one small bag of candy = 2 kids. Ok, getting the hint that there aren't any kids in my neighborhood. But the new walk-way at the house all lit up made it nice!

Hey Cindy,
Are any of Evie's Waterloo Cup runs on Youtube? Met Aaron the slipper a couple of weeks ago. His Evie stories were so funny :-).

Ahhh! Arron's a trip! No, I don't think there are any video out there. There's a great video though if you can get ahold of it called "The Last Waterloo Cup." I don't have my copy anymore - the ex took it - and a small clip on there of Evie and me being interviewed...
i don't understand your halloween logistics.
lots of candy-->1 kid
should become
bucket loads, bring in the trucks of candy --> lights off for no kids.
clearly you don't understand the fun of fun-size.
sorry. i don't get any of those until they're sent in a care package from home. i'm baby ruth starved.
sweet photo. i think the colour suits.
Aaron said Evie was a slipper's nightmare.... half the size of the other dogs and she'd disappear underneath them. That she was blown out of the water on the run up, but then proceeded to turn the hare 1,000 times. :-) I have seen her runs courtesy of John Parker, but would love to see them again.

No, Evie was never fast. She could turn on a dime though! And she was 4.5yrs old when she ran in the Waterloo Cup - the max age of the other dogs was about 2.5yrs! Her sister Cherry was the better coursing dog - but the rule was you had to be 100% NGA - hence Evie ran and not Cherry...
